What is your Loyola Love Story (how/where did you meet, how long have you been together, etc.)?
Like many Ramblers, we had a ton of mutual friends and crossed paths several times over our first two years at Loyola. We were even in Rome the same summer and never interacted! We didn’t formally meet until a house party on Glenwood during Halloween 2012. We shared contact info and spent the first few weeks texting and talking on FB messenger (fun fact—Anna had to W from a night class because she spent too much time chatting Dan during that class!)

What would be your advice to fellow Ramblers for a happy relationship?
Never stop growing and challenging each other with love and constant support.

What have you both been up to since you graduated?
We got married at Madonna Della Strada in December 2016. Both of us immediately became high school teachers after graduating. Dan has since pursued his MBA and works as a Manager at Deloitte. Anna still works in education, but has transitioned to teacher leadership, becoming an International Baccalaureate Programme coordinator. We live in Portage Park and have an almost 2-year-old named George. We’re always looking for fellow young parent Ramblers to connect with!

What are your fondest memories of Loyola?
Not during school, but the Ramblers final four run in 2018 was so much fun. It brought so many of us back together to take pride in Loyola.

If you could offer a current Loyola student advice, what would it be?
Explore and take advantage of everything living in Chicago offers you. Embrace this time in your life without the constraints of “adulting” to live authentically.
